Terrain has been an industry leader within the luxury residential landscape construction business for 25 years. We specialize in professional services that help guide our clients from idealization and design to project completion. Some clients come to us with nothing more than a vision in their mind while others come with prepared plans and require help from our technical team to build the details.
Terrain developed the design team for 2 reasons, firstly to support the market segment that wasn’t served by either our landscape designers or landscape architect clients. And secondly to facilitate our real estate development division THE ESTATE BUTLER that develops property and provides entire home remodeling for investment developments.
Our design process guides our clients from programming their wants and needs, to spatial layout and idealization, to material and fixture selection. We discuss the project budget during the initial meeting and no decision is made without careful consideration of the client’s vision and budget range. We use this information to drive the design so when we reach an agreed plan the construction pricing fits the client’s expectations. The design is cohesively translated from the design team to the construction field. We maintain constant communication to ensure the client’s vision is brought to fruition.
Our design team is comprised of a licensed Washington state Architect, licensed Engineer, Landscape Designer and Senior Project Managers. Because of the variety of professionals that exist at Terrain, our services are not limited to just the landscape. Our Architect and Project Managers specialize in home remodels, basement repairs and new, ground-up builds. Terrain is a one-stop shop for housing and landscape needs.
